It finally looks like Linus Torvalds likes his new phone. Yes, that Linus, the one who started Linux. Guess which phone he likes…

Droid – No
G1 – has one, didn’t like it.
He just bought a new Nexus One and he likes it. He said in his blog: “I have to admit, the Nexus One is a winner. I wasn’t enthusiastic about buying a phone on the internet sight unseen, but the day it was reported that it finally had the pinch-to-zoom thing enabled, I decided to take the plunge.”

Since the G1 has the ability to save images straight from the web browser, this site has been optimized for access from the Android browser. All wallpapers are copyrighted to their respective owners.
T-Mobile G1 Overclocked and Android 2.1 Times
Feb 3rd
I updated the Linpack Device listings to better show the T-Mobile G1 overclocking and runs utilizing replacement ROMs. It looks like the overclocked G1 using a stock ROM is still edging out the Android 2.1 ROMs by about 11%. I just wonder how fast the G1 was overclocked to get that number. Me, I’ll wait for the 2.1 update that will HOPEFULLY come soon.
